Funding your Carena wallet by wire

Carena accepts wires only. Wire to the bank details in your account; your open bids can add up to your balance.

Send a wire from your bank to the bank details shown in your account. It usually reaches your wallet the same business day. Carena accepts wires only, not ACH.

How the balance works

  • Balance: what you have wired, minus wins, shipping and withdrawals.
  • In bids: money held by your open bids.
  • Available: what you can still bid or withdraw.
  • Owed: if a win or shipping takes you below zero, wire the amount owed.

If you can’t pay what you owe

Pay what you owe within 48 hours of a win or shipping charge; after that, late and storage fees start and are added to what you owe. If you don't pay what you owe for a vehicle you won (the price, the fees or shipping), the vehicle is abandoned and we have to return it to the auction. You are then charged an abandonment fee of $600 or 10% of the vehicle's price, whichever is greater.

Withdrawing

You can send your available balance back to your bank at any time from your wallet.
