Buying auction cars with an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT)

Connect Carena to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI agent to search Copart, IAAI and ADESA vehicles, check your wallet and prepare bids you confirm on Carena.

Carena works with AI agents. Add https://auctions.autocarena.com/mcp as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT, log in, and choose what the agent may do: see your account and, if you allow it, change your watchlist. When you want to bid, the agent gives you a link to confirm the bid on Carena; it never bids or moves money itself.

Agents for developers can use a personal API key from Account → AI agents, or the REST API described at https://auctions.autocarena.com/openapi.json.

What an agent can do

• Search Copart, IAAI and ADESA vehicles and read details, prices and sale times.
• Check your wallet, bids, wins and shipping.
• Prepare a max bid or Buy Now offer and give you a link to confirm it on Carena.
• Save vehicles to your watchlist.

What stays with you

• Creating your account and adding your name and address.
• Wiring money from your bank.
• Confirming every bid and Buy Now offer, on Carena.
• Withdrawing your money: only you can, on the website.

Questions

Can an agent spend more than I have?

No. Open bids can never add up to more than your wallet balance.

How do I disconnect an agent?

Under Account → AI agents, choose Disconnect or revoke the key.
